IN SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO
Santa Fe, NM — In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Sunstone Press and the Borders store on Zafarano in Santa Fe are will feature a presentation and talk (Saturday, July 28, from 2 to 4 PM) by two historians on Sunstone’s new Southwest Heritage Series, facsimile reprintings of some 200 books on Southwestern US culture, literature and history. The speakers are Marc Simmons and Marcia Muth. Both Simmons and Muth have written new forewords for several of the books in the series.
Included in the series are works by Ralph Emerson Twitchell, Mary Austin, Fray Angelico Chavez, Oliver LaFarge, Erna Fergusson, Nina Otero-Warren, Miguel Antonio Otero, Marta Weigle, H. H. Bancroft, Frank Cushing, Mabel Dodge Luhan, Susan E. Wallace, Leo Crane, and L. Bradford Prince to name a few.
